Job summary

Prep Network is seeking a Showcases Director to organize and operate youth basketball tournaments and showcases nationwide. You will plan events, be the face of the events team, and ensure top-tier experiences for players and teams.

Responsibilities include event execution, planning with headquarters, coordinating staff and facility contacts, and delivering motivational messages to groups of 50–300 players and parents. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have experience coaching basketball and a passion for the game.
• Strong multitasking and prioritization abilities.
• Experience running events or camps with 50–300 participants and a coaching team.
• Proven decision-making under pressure and problem solving on the fly.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Experience working with and managing groups of 10 or more.
• Proficient in Google Docs, Sheets, and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Execute event setup, check-in, run of show, and staff management.
• Collaborate with HQ to plan and organize event details and checklists.
• Communicate with facility contacts, check-in staff, coaches, and officials assignors.
• Think quickly to resolve on-site and in/out of control situations.
• Public speaking to groups of 50–300 players/parents and deliver motivational messaging.
