Job summary

Prep Network is seeking a Showcase Director to plan and execute youth basketball tournaments nationwide. You will be the face of the events team, upholding first-class tournament standards at locations across the country, using the tools, training, and resources provided to deliver elite experiences for players and teams.

Ideal candidates have a basketball coaching background, proven event management experience for large groups, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Current or past basketball coach with passion for the game.
• Strong multitasking and prioritization to handle competing priorities.
• Experience in running events or camps with 50-300 participants and a coaching team.
• Proven ability to make decisions under pressure and solve problems on the fly.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Experience working with and managing groups of 10+ people.
• Proficient in Google Docs, Google Sheets, and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Event Execution: carry out all event setup, check-in, and run of show; manage staff and coordinate with coaching staff for attendee experience.
• Planning and Organizing: collaborate with headquarters to organize all event details and prep checklists.
• Communication: liaise with facility contacts, check-in staff, coaches, and officials assigns.
• Problem-Solving: adapt to on-site situations and adjust plans as needed.
• Public speaking: address 50-300 players/parents and deliver motivational messages.
