Job summary

Central Lincoln County YMCA is seeking a basketball program facilitator to teach classes and clinics on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, starting in November. You will work with the Program & Summer Camp Director to promote healthy living and youth development while delivering high-quality instruction in a safe, welcoming setting.

Ideal candidates have 3-5 years related experience, CPR/First Aid certification within 60 days, and strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification within 60 days of hire.
• Team player with superb interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter with ability to multi-task and adapt to changing circumstances.
• General computer skills and ability to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Teaches basketball classes and clinics on Tue/Thu afternoons.
• Promotes healthy living, social responsibility, and youth development with director.
• Creates and executes basketball programs and curriculum with safety and YMCA standards.
• Collaborates with staff to deliver quality programming in a positive environment.
• Supervises participants, manages group dynamics, and fosters social skills.
• Maintains equipment, logs attendance, and ensures a welcoming environment.
• Recruits, trains, and coordinates volunteers to support instruction.
