Job summary

Central Lincoln County YMCA is seeking a Soccer Instructor to support our community-focused program. You will teach Soccer Clinic, Itty Bitty Soccer, and Soccer Tots for young children on Tue/Thu afternoons in Sept and Oct, with potential for more classes.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in related field, CPR/First Aid within 60 days, and strong teamwork skills. You will promote healthy living, safety, and YMCA standards while delivering high-quality instruction and welcoming environments.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a related field.
• CPR and First Aid certification within 60 days of hire.
• Team player with superb interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
• Self-starter who can multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• General computer skills and ability to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Teaches Soccer Clinic, Itty Bitty Soccer and Soccer Tots on Tue/Thu afternoons in Sep and Oct.
• Collaborates with the Department Director to promote healthy living and youth development.
• Creates and executes soccer curriculum while ensuring safety and YMCA standards.
• Prepares equipment, supervises participants, and promotes quality instruction.
• Recruits and coordinates volunteers, maintains a welcoming environment.
• Maintains attendance records and reports incidents as required.
