You will be responsible for managing the official game time and ensuring the accuracy of the scoreboard during youth basketball games, providing a professional and seamless experience for players, coaches, and families. Pay rate is $15/hour.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Understanding of basic basketball rules, timing, fouls, and timeouts.
• Strong focus and attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to fall and winter game schedules.
• Good communication with referees and staff.
• Reliable transportation to travel to game sites across Utah.

Responsibilities

• Start and stop the game clock accurately according to rules.
• Maintain real-time scoring and fouls on the scoreboard.
• Monitor timeouts and alert officials when limits are reached.
• Manage possession arrow for jump ball situations.
• Collaborate with referees and site supervisors to maintain game flow.
• Represent the Utah Jazz brand professionally during games.
