Job summary

The J’s Sports & Recreation department seeks a Manager, Sports & Recreation (Youth Baseball and Softball) to oversee day-to-day operations, scheduling, staffing, and communication for youth baseball and softball programs. The role focuses on program growth, fiscal sustainability, and resource management.

The Manager will recruit and train part-time staff, ensure program quality, and uphold youth protection policies.

Qualifications

• Two+ years as Director/Supervisor/Manager of a Sports and Recreation program.
• Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management/Administration or related field.
• Experience in baseball/softball coaching or administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of all baseball and softball leagues, including scheduling and team formations.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate staff and umpires.
• Develop budgets and ensure fiscal responsibility for programs.
