Job summary

A summer youth camp organization is seeking summer Coaches/Counselors for baseball and softball camps in the Bay Area, including West Sacramento. Candidates must be energetic and passionate about teaching kids ages 4-13. Responsibilities include ensuring a safe camp environment and managing camper activities. The position offers competitive pay ranging from $19.50 to $25 per hour depending on experience, and applicants should be prepared for a commitment of 3-5 weeks from June to August 2026.

Qualifications

• Must have experience coaching or playing baseball/softball at a high school level or higher.
• Be prepared for an 8-hour commitment Monday-Friday for 3-5 weeks.
• Reliable transportation is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe camp environment for all campers.
• Manage and motivate campers to have fun each day.
• Execute daily curriculum under the Site Director's direction.
