Job summary

A summer youth sports camp is hiring energetic Coaches for baseball and softball camps throughout the Bay Area. Ideal candidates will inspire youth, manage activities, and facilitate a fun learning environment for ages 4-13. Responsibilities include ensuring camper safety, managing daily activities, and executing the camp curriculum. Compensation ranges from $19.50 to $25.00 per hour, based on experience. Applicants must commit for a duration from June 8 to August 14, 2026, and have reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Prepare to commit Monday-Friday for approximately eight hours per day for 3-5 weeks.
• Travel to each site with reliable transportation.
• Pass a comprehensive background screening.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe camp environment for all campers.
• Manage and motivate campers to have fun daily.
• Execute the camp curriculum under the Site Director's direction.
• Provide feedback during drills and games.
• Highlight teachable moments for campers.
• Work with team members from diverse backgrounds.

Skills

Experience working with children ages 4-13

Coaching or playing baseball/softball at a high school level
