Job summary

A youth sports organization is hiring Coaches/Counselors for summer youth baseball and softball camps in the Bay Area. Ideal candidates are energetic, passionate about teaching, and experienced in coaching or playing at a high school level. Responsibilities include ensuring camper safety, managing activities, and implementing the camp curriculum. Candidates should have reliable transportation and a commitment for 3-5 weeks during the summer. Competitive pay starts at $21.00/hour for Coaches.

Qualifications

• Commitment Monday-Friday for approximately eight hours daily for 3-5 weeks.
• Reliable transportation to various camp sites.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background screening.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe camp environment for all campers.
• Manage and motivate campers to have fun each day.
• Execute the Giants Baseball Camps Curriculum under the Site Director's direction.
• Provide feedback during drills and games.
• Highlight teachable moments for campers.
• Work together with team members to uphold the camp's reputation.

Experience working with children ages 4-13
