Job summary

A youth sports organization is seeking energetic Coaches/Counselors for summer baseball and softball camps throughout the Bay Area. Candidates should inspire youth while providing leadership and a safe environment. Roles demand a commitment Monday to Friday, teaching experience preferred, and a passion for connecting with children. This position offers an hourly rate between $19.50 and $25 based on experience and qualifications, with opportunities to work outdoors and influence young athletes positively.

Qualifications

• Be prepared to commit Monday to Friday for approximately eight hours per day.
• Reliable transportation to various camp sites.
• Ability to pass background screening.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe environment for all campers.
• Motivate campers to enjoy each day of camp.
• Execute daily curriculum under Site Director's guidance.

Experience working with children ages 4-13

Experience coaching/baseball/softball

Education

High school experience in baseball/softball

Teaching certification (for Educator role)
