Job summary

The City of Brooklyn Park is seeking a Recreation Specialist to support arts and engagement programs at Zanewood Recreation Center and The Wood teen center, under the supervision of the Arts & Engagement Specialist. This role focuses on youth and family engagement through arts, wellness, and community events.

Qualifications

• Specialized arts training beyond High School.
• One year of experience creating programs around arts and engagement for youth.
• Equivalency allowed between education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in idea creation for arts, wellness and engagement programs for K-5 and teens.
• Assist evaluation of arts and family events and report feedback.
• Support outreach and partnerships to promote programs and community engagement.
