arc After School and Experiential Education is seeking an Assistant Site Coordinator at ICEF View Park Preparatory High School in Los Angeles, CA. This part-time, non-exempt role supports the Site Coordinator, oversees student safety, and assists with attendance, lesson planning, and grant compliance.

You will engage families, coordinate enrichment activities, and develop clubs such as career readiness, cooking, anime, and dance. Morning and afternoon shifts available; reliable commute required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in after-school programs or youth recreation, especially in diverse communities.
• Good communicator with kids and parents.
• TB test and Live Scan background check clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Coordinator by acting as the second point of contact for parents and administrators.
• Oversee the safety and well-being of students during after-school activities.
• Establish and enforce rules to promote positive behavior.
• Coordinate, manage, and be involved in indoor and outdoor enrichment activities.
• Attend trainings or staff meetings to stay updated on best practices in childcare, safety, and program management.
• Create unique clubs for students (career readiness, cooking, anime, and dance).
• Organize activities including homework help, recreational games, arts and crafts, and educational projects.
