Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with minors.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to provide emotional support to minors.
• Flexible and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel and Word).
• Bilingual English/Spanish fluency.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; auto insurance minimums.
• Proficient with desktop/laptop computers and common office equipment.
• 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Interact with youth to develop trusting, supportive relationships.
• Support youth in achieving identified goals and provide leadership.
• Create a warm, safe atmosphere for youth.
• Complete training and required documentation in a timely manner.
• Maintain a positive attitude toward youth, families, and staff.
• Report issues to the Out of School Coordinator.
• Prepare program activities and spaces as needed.
