Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) is seeking a Manager, Youth Advocacy in a Washington, DC–based hybrid role. You will support organization-wide advocacy, develop youth-focused collateral, and coordinate across departments to advance policy goals.

The role emphasizes engaging youth voice, planning national and state advocacy activities, and expanding training programs with stakeholders and Clubs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Political Science or related field.
• Minimum of five years’ Government Relations/advocacy experience at Federal/State levels.
• Experience in youth development and advocacy, including staff training.
• Experience engaging in community collaborations and working with coalitions to advance government relations goals.

Responsibilities

• Align resources and programs to support Youth Advocacy initiatives.
• Plan and manage advocacy events such as National Days of Advocacy and conferences.
• Manage funded opportunities including budgets, deliverables, and reporting.
• Develop advocacy collaterals and trainings for internal and external audiences.
