Job summary

SOUTHWEST KEY PROGRAMS INC in Dallas, TX is seeking a Youth Advisory Committee Coordinator to oversee YAC youth, activities, and support post high school readiness initiatives. The role ensures goals, community projects and CSNA outcomes are achieved, with a flexible schedule and on-call availability to support program services.

Responsibilities include intake, documentation, youth engagement, coordinating the Youth Summit, and facilitating job search and college enrollment activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with two years' experience working with at risk youth and their families; may include part time, volunteer or internship experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a social service or related field.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial intake with client and family/guardian.
• Ensure timely completion of intake paperwork, Assessments and ISP in accordance with SWK policy.
• Ensure all daily documentation is completed and entered into the SWK database and Funder system in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain physical and web-based client files.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients and families.
• Coordinate YAC youth involvement in the Youth Summit and related activities.
• Facilitate post high school readiness activities including job search and college enrollment.
• Provide transportation as needed.
• Attend and participate in required professional training and workshops.
