Job summary

LifeSkills Connection Inc. seeks an Admissions Counselor to conduct outreach, recruitment, eligibility determinations, and admissions activities in line with government and management directives.

The role requires interviewing applicants, preparing enrollment documentation, and providing orientation on Job Corps and center expectations. The position involves maintaining monthly targets, documenting contacts within 24 hours, and contributing to policy development affecting recruitment.

Qualifications

• Outreach, recruitment, eligibility determination, and admissions processes in line with directives.
• Interview candidates and collect pertinent information.
• Prepare documentation and reports related to outreach and admissions.
• Provide orientation and describe Job Corps, center and student expectations; schedule tours as needed.
• Maintain monthly goals as directed by management.
• Record all contacts within 24 hours and document attempts.

Responsibilities

• Interview applicants and determine eligibility for admission.
• Coordinate outreach activities with schools, agencies and community organizations.
• Prepare and review enrollment documentation with center staff.
• Deliver orientation and center tours to prospects.
• Maintain and report on outreach metrics and goals.
