Job summary

Lifeskills Connection is seeking an Admissions Counselor to drive outreach and recruitment for Job Corps, conduct candidate interviews, and manage the admissions process with compliance to guidelines. You will prepare documentation, provide center tours, and maintain performance metrics.

Position emphasizes customer-facing communication, collaboration with the OA/CTS Department, and adherence to policies. A bachelor’s or related associate degree with experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree with two years related experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Conduct outreach activities with public service agencies and schools to refer candidates.
• Interview candidates and collect pertinent information.
• Prepare documentation on potential students and review with the center.
• Provide orientation and schedule tours for prospects.
• Maintain monthly goals and document outreach activities.
• Ensure compliance with policies and prepare related reports.
• Travel as required.
