Job summary

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Illinois is seeking an Activity Specialist who will serve as a positive role model and activity leader for youths aged 6 to 18. Under supervision, you will help members develop essential assets and participate in a wide range of educational and recreational activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Knowledge of youth development and positive relationship building.
• Ability to relate to youth, parents, and staff professionally.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Valid Illinois driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as positive role model and activity leader for ages 6–18.
• Plan and implement engaging activities with high energy.
• Mentor Members and enforce club rules fairly.
• Track participation and report activities.
• Maintain safety and order in program areas.
• Support special events and Power Hour sessions.
