The YMCA Bradford is seeking a part-time C10 Activity Leader to support the 21st Century Community Learning Centers program. Under the Site Supervisor, you will assist with activities for youth, ensure safety, and uphold YMCA values while delivering quality programming in a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include planning, supervising children, recording attendance, coordinating meals, and working with a team. Must be 16+ with relevant experience and participate in staff trainings.

Competenze

• Must be at least 16 years of age (with working papers).
• Must have substantial experience working with children under 13 years.
• Ideal candidates look to develop self & others, understand the YMCA and the roles of volunteers and staff.

• Responsible for the safety of the children at all times and able to implement emergency procedures.
• Interact positively with the children daily, demonstrating YMCA core values in activities.
• Assist with program lesson plans to ensure high quality standards per grant guidelines and YMCA.
• Perform tasks related to daily operation including activities, crafts, meal service and discipline.
• Document attendance and incidents in compliance with state requirements.
• Supervise and maintain the site appearance and organize a welcoming room; light maintenance tasks.
• Work as a team with other child care staff.
• Attend staff meetings and required trainings.
• Attend parent-child events as requested by the Site Supervisor.
