Qualifications

• Experience and/or education in child development, education, human relations, communication, or recreational programs.
• CPR, First Aid, AED certifications within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to plan, lead, organize, and implement school age recreation programs.
• Strong communication skills with flexibility and adaptability.
• Commitment to working with diverse populations.
• Self-motivated and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Assist Youth Activities Director with curriculum planning and program activities.
• Organize and lead arts, crafts, games, and enrichment activities for school-aged children.
• Maintain records: incidents, attendance, rosters.
• Enforce safety policies and positive behavior interventions.
• Promote the program to families via calendars and newsletters.
• Support youth development and positive group relationships.
• Ensure safety of participants at all times.
