Job summary

Ontario Trillium Foundation in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Youth Activities Counselor to provide child-watch services in The Treehouse, guiding age-appropriate play and ensuring safety.

You will greet families, supervise activities, assist with events, and help with meals, transitions, and clean-up, while enforcing health and safety procedures. The role emphasizes teamwork and outstanding customer service to create a positive experience for children and families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid First Aid and Infant/Child CPR certifications.
• Six months experience with groups of children aged 6 months to 12 years.
• Ability to communicate effectively, fluent in English.
• Ability to work outside during all seasons.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise child-watch activities and games.
• Assist with event setup, décor, activities, and post-event cleanup.
• Greet children and parents by name and communicate needs at drop-off/pick-up.
• Maintain safety, hygiene, and clean environments in the treehouse.
• Provide five-star customer service with a positive attitude.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings.
