Job summary

Brighter Transition YTC seeks Youth Counselors to supervise adolescents and provide structured support on campus. The role emphasizes safety, daily living skills, and positive role modeling, with focus on PM and weekend shifts in a teen-focused program.

Responsibilities include supervising activities, observing behavior, and intervening when necessary to maintain a secure, therapeutic environment for residents aged 13–21. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to supervise adolescents and maintain campus safety.
• Strong interpersonal skills to coach and support residents.
• Ability to observe peer culture and respond to escalating behaviors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety, accountability and security of campus.
• Teach, coach and supervise activities of daily living for residents.
• Observe behavior patterns to monitor progress and intervene as needed.
• Respond to escalating situations to ensure safety.
