Job summary

Hope For Youth, Inc is seeking a dedicated Therapist for its Youth Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Program in Bay Shore, NY. The role requires conducting individualized therapy for at-risk youth aged 10-21, and involves working directly with families and multi-disciplinary teams to provide intensive support. Candidates should hold an LMSW/LCSW/LMHC/LMFT or limited permit, with at least one year of experience with children/adolescents. The position offers a full-time schedule, comprehensive benefits, and a salary range of $65,000 – $68,500 per year.

Qualifications

• 1 year’s experience working with children/adolescents and families preferred.
• Physical requirements: read/write reports and log entries; climbing stairs; daily access to own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Conduct person-centered and individualized therapy in various settings.
• Develop a treatment plan with the child/family.
• Provide transportation for clients as necessary.

Skills

Experience with children/adolescents and families

Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, EHRs)

Valid NYS driver’s license

Education
