Job summary

Safe Place for Youth in Venice, CA is hiring an Access & Engagement Program Supervisor to bridge the Access Center and Outreach teams. You will oversee daily operations, supervise staff and volunteers, and ensure data and contract expectations are met, while expanding youth-centered programming and restorative justice practices.

The role requires trauma-informed care experience, strong leadership, and a commitment to serving unhoused or at-risk youth in SPA 5.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology or Psychology preferred.
• 2–5 years in a social service setting with homeless or at-risk youth.
• 2+ years supervising staff.
• Strong crisis intervention skills.
• Cultural responsiveness and humility.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Access Center programs using Positive Youth Development and trauma-informed approaches.
• Supervise front-line staff, volunteers, interns, and case management contracts.
• Provide strengths-based supervision and professional development for staff.
• Manage Access Center data, reports, and contract expectations.
• Ensure high-quality front desk operations and member flow.
• Coordinate partnerships with DMH, DCFS, Youth Family Reconnection, and others.
• Lead engaging, youth-centered programming and restorative justice meetings.
