Job summary

Behavioral Health Network, Inc. is seeking a Young Adult Peer Mentor to engage with individuals served and facilitate their participation in the ASD Wraparound Service. The role aims to help individuals with serious mental illness achieve maximum potential while living in the community.

The position emphasizes empowerment, development of life, work, social skills, and self-esteem, requiring a strong commitment to mission-driven behavioral health care in Western Massachusetts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years of experience with transition age youth/adults preferred.
• Diagnosis of ASD and/or lived experience with mental illness or trauma preferred.
• Familiarity with community-based systems and teaching individuals involved with them is preferred.
• Must have a valid Massachusetts driver's license and reliable vehicle for all working hours.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
