Job summary

Behavioral Health Network (BHN) in Western Massachusetts is seeking a Young Adult Peer Mentor to join the ASD Wraparound Service. You will engage with individuals served, supporting their participation and empowerment to develop life, work, and social skills while living in the community.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, at least two years’ experience with transition age youth or adults, familiarity with internet, word processing and email, and a valid Massachusetts driver's

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years' experience with transition age youth/adults preferred.
• Experience navigating community-based systems preferred.
• Valid Massachusetts driver's license and reliable vehicle.
• Familiar with internet, word processing, and email systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage with individuals served and facilitate their participation in the ASD Wraparound Service.
• Support individuals to achieve maximum potential while living in the community.
• Help develop self-worth, life and work skills, social skills, and self-esteem.
