Job summary

Behavioral Health Network, Inc (BHN) seeks a Young Adult Peer Mentor for the ASD Wraparound team. This remote-capable role supports individuals in the community and helps them develop life, work, and social skills while promoting self-worth.

You will travel regularly within Western Massachusetts and meet clients in community homes. A high school diploma is required, with 2+ years of relevant experience preferred, and a MA driver’s license is needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of experience with transition age youth/adults preferred.
• ASD diagnosis or lived experience with mental illness or trauma preferred.
• Valid Massachusetts driver’s license and reliable vehicle required.
• Familiarity with internet, word processing and email system.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage with individuals served and facilitate their participation in the ASD Wraparound Service.
• Help individuals achieve maximum potential while living in the community.
• Empower individuals to develop self-worth, life and work skills, social skills and self-esteem.
