Job summary

The Home for Little Wanderers in Boston seeks a dedicated role to mentor and support youth across home communities and onsite locations. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide individualized support, advocate for youth, and participate in treatment reviews and program meetings while maintaining precise documentation.

The position requires personal experience living with significant mental health issues, willingness to train, physical activity, and strong communication

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills required.
• Willingness to attend trainings prior to starting.
• Experience with mentoring or youth services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to provide individual support to youth.
• Provide in-person mentoring in home communities and onsite.
• Participate in quarterly treatment reviews and meetings.
• Facilitate peer groups to share strengths and interests.
• Partner with youth through Restorative Practices.
• Assist program team in collecting information about community resources.
• Partner with, engage, and retain resources identified to support program youth.
• Meet weekly for supervision and complete required documentation.
