Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in business, marketing, journalism, communications or related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of marketing or media sales experience required.
• Proven ability to meet revenue goals.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to present research and proposals clearly.
• Excellent communication and digital analytics skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Must reside in York County, SC DMA.

Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly and annual revenue goals and grow total revenue.
• Develop new business in York County DMA via cold calls and proposals.
• Be professional and creative with a focus on new business.
• Plan and execute ideas for events, promotions, and digital campaigns.
• Understand digital marketing offerings including PPC, social, streaming TV/audio, SEO, and websites.
• Enter client/prospect information and sales activity into Hubspot CRM.
• Participate in budgeting cycle for The Post and Courier – York County.
• Represent the company at community and business meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
