Summerville Communications seeks an Advertising Manager to drive advertising revenue growth across print and digital platforms. The role leads a team of account executives, covers Dorchester and Berkeley Counties, and oversees a select portfolio of accounts with a strong focus on field engagement and client presentations.

The ideal candidate will blend team leadership with strategic sales planning, enjoy field work, and develop creative marketing solutions for clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field preferred.
• 2-4 years of marketing or media sales experience with a track record of meeting revenue targets.
• Experience securing, managing and growing medium-to-large clients.
• Experience coaching sales teams and managing personnel.
• Consultative selling across print and digital platforms; proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Spend 50%+ of time in the field with client discovery, pitch presentations and joint prospecting with Account Executives.
• Conduct regular 1-on-1s and lead weekly sales meetings and strategy sessions.
• Foster a proactive, professional sales culture focused on new business acquisition.
