Job summary

The YMCA of Metropolitan Washington is seeking a Senior Program Leader for the Pre-K / Kindergarten program at Middleburg Elementary. This part-time role centers on creating a positive learning environment for early learners while supporting staff during after-care hours.

Responsibilities include leading activities for Pre-K and Kindergarten, designing lesson plans, mentoring Group Leaders, and maintaining safety and family communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience with children ages 3–6 in a licensed or educational setting.
• High school diploma or GED required; CDA or early childhood coursework strongly preferred.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience fostering an environment for children of all abilities is valued.

Location: YMCA Loudoun - Middleburg Elementary School

Compensation: $17.00 per hour

Schedule: Part-Time | Afternoon/Evening Hours | School Year

• Monday-Friday
• Before Care 6:30am-8:00am and or
• After Care 2:30pm-6:30pm
