Job summary

ASML is seeking a Field Service Engineer for Yieldstar to support installations, qualification, repair, and maintenance at customer sites in the Phoenix area. The role involves working within the Yieldstar Equipment Sustaining team and interacting with customers on multiple levels to diagnose, perform tool actions, and escalate when needed.

The role requires hands-on repair capabilities, strong analytical skills, and the ability to train customers while adhering to strict procedures and safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent combination of education, skills & experience.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar field service role.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with Yieldstar, YS385 / YS500 or similar metrology tools.

Responsibilities

• Gather information, analyze issues, and determine initial approach to solve problems.
• Handover problems and data to central support with documentation for problem resolution.
• Replace parts and perform repairs and standard service actions independently.
• Coordinate parts/tools and information to be available at start of procedure.
• Explain actions to users, train customers, and recommend changes in procedures when needed.
• Report gaps and improvements to stakeholders.
• Maintain and share knowledge within the team.
• Support and assist less experienced engineers on first tasks.
