Job summary

ASML in Phoenix seeks a Field Service Engineer – Yieldstar to support the Yieldstar Equipment Sustaining team at customer sites, performing regular and irregular maintenance with limited supervision and teamwork as needed.

You will train customers, escalate complex issues to central teams, and travel domestically up to 10%. A bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 3+ years in a similar role are required, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent combination of education, skills & experience.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar field.
• Minimum 2 years experience with data analysis tools, spreadsheets and presentation software.
• Minimum 2 years experience with Yieldstar, YS385 / YS500 or similar metrology tools.

Responsibilities

• Gather information, analyze, decide on approach and execute or escalate as needed.
• Handover problems with data and documentation for resolution.
• Use tools, replace parts, and perform repairs and standard service actions.
• Coordinate parts, tools, and information within customer time windows.
• Explain actions to users, train customers in use and maintenance.
• Identify gaps and report improvement opportunities to stakeholders.
• Maintain and broaden knowledge, share best practices within the team.
• Support and assist less experienced engineers on initial tasks.
