Job summary

Texas Instruments Incorporated is seeking an energetic YE Execution Engineer to join the Yield Enhancement team at SMFAB. You will focus on improving procedures and processes to drive yields and efficiency on a 300mm wafer line in a high-volume Analog Technologies fab.

The role involves daily operations planning, defect analysis, lot disposition, and collaboration across engineering and manufacturing to resolve bottlenecks, improve documentation, and support ramp and process experiments.

Responsibilities

• Support YE operations to keep the wafer manufacturing line safe and free of defects.
• Daily operational planning and execution to resolve line bottlenecks and support internal customer inspection needs.
• Proceduralizing lot disposition for fellow engineering technician efforts, keeping a keen focus on documentation and quality control.
• Utilize expertise on inspection platforms to perform defect partitions and understood defect sourcing methodologies to quickly determine root cause.
• Develop and implement improved methods of manufacturing, procedures, and processes that result in improved efficiencies, yields, machine operations, and quality
• Implement project or improvement plans for areas of responsibility including but not limited to: efficiency improvements, cost reduction or quality improvement programs, new product support and other process improvements
• Perform lot and equipment dispositions to support the continuous flow of production and to minimize cycle time in a high volume manufacturing 300mm wafer Fab running Analog Technologies
• Identify systematic problems in either process or equipment related sources and communicating findings to the engineering staff in a continuous manner
• Support the manufacturing ramp with execution of equipment/process startup, process experiments (SWRs)
• Participate in data analysis and problem resolution with other engineering and manufacturing departments.
