Job summary

Bloom Energy in Fremont, California is seeking a Yield Engineer to join our Stack Process Engineering team. The role focuses on developing, characterizing, documenting and releasing new manufacturing processes to boost yield and throughput on the production floor.

You will collaborate with equipment engineering, supplier quality, quality, maintenance and manufacturing personnel to identify improvements and enable meeting production goals in a fast-paced, on-site environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Materials Science.
• Must be graduating between May 2024 and August 2025.
• Experience in a manufacturing or process environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, characterize, document and release new processes into manufacturing.
• Improve yield and throughput performance of existing processes.
• Enable manufacturing to meet production goals through direct line support and analysis.
• Collaborate with equipment engineering, supplier quality, quality, maintenance and manufacturing personnel to identify areas for improvement.
