Job summary

Bloom Energy, based in Fremont, CA, seeks a Manufacturing Facilities Engineer to lead the maintenance and optimization of our production and warehouse infrastructure. The role reports to the VP, Global Facilities and is an on-site position in Fremont, CA, five days a week.

The engineer will oversee preventive and reactive maintenance, safety, compliance, and budget management to support manufacturing goals.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 8+ years facilities management experience.
• Project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and oversee maintenance and repairs for facility infrastructure (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air).
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize workflow and facility layout.
• Manage safety programs and ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Source, negotiate, and manage contracts with vendors, service providers, and contractors.
• Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate with third-party contractors.
• Maintain CMMS records and report KPIs for facility operations.
