Bloom Energy is seeking a Staff Process Engineer to join their Fremont, CA manufacturing team. The role focuses on direct process engineering support across multiple functional areas for fuel cell manufacturing, addressing production issues in real time and driving improvements in processes and tooling.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S in Engineering or related fields.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Experience with manufacturing data analysis and DOE/SPC.
• 5+ years in manufacturing environments with hands-on engineering work in semiconductor, hard disk, solar, or related industries.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct process engineering support across multiple functional areas for fuel cell manufacturing.
• Address production issues in real time; collect and analyze equipment data and disposition accordingly.
• Collect and analyze data for both operational metrics and functional performance; drive tool matching and improvements.
• Define preventive and corrective actions to eliminate root causes of failures; develop and sustain processes and documentation.
• Provide training to production team members on procedures and reaction plans; work with Quality, Product Development, and Manufacturing to improve efficiency.
