Job summary

Walsworth is seeking a Yearbook Sales Training Intern for our Overland Park office. This full-time, paid internship runs about 12 weeks, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, from May 31, 2027 to August 6, 2027 (flexible end date). Interviews begin Fall 2027; contact [e-mail] with questions.

The role shadows and supports Yearbook Sales and Training teams, develops training materials, and assists with workshops, events, CRM tasks, and travel coordination.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn computer applications as necessary for the position.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including customer service (face-to-face, email, phone).

Walsworth Yearbook Sales Training Intern Summary

As the Walsworth Yearbook Sales Training Intern, you will have the opportunity to job shadow and support members of our Yearbook Sales and Sales Training teams, assist with school customer workshops and sales meeting preparation, develop sales representative training materials and interact with senior Yearbook Sales managers. This full-time, paid internship is based out of our Walsworth – Overland Park office and reports to the Yearbook Sales Training Manager. The internship lasts approximately 12 weeks, with an 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday schedule. Anticipated start date is May 31, 2027 and students should be available through at least August 6, 2027. (Some flexibility offered with the end date due to varied return-to-college dates for interns.)

Essential Functions

• Assist with preparation and coordination of the Yearbook Sales Meeting

Minimum Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Completion of at least 30college credits(Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Sales, Business or related degree program preferred)
• Experience in yearbook, journalism, marketing &/orsales (preferred)
• Have reliable transportation to and from the assigned office location. Some overnight travel may be required for yearbook sales workshops.
• U.S. work authorization is required along with a pre-employment background check and drug screen

• Completion of at least 60 credit hours towards a degree program OR completion of at least four semesters of college (preferred)
