Job summary

Cedar Point in Ohio seeks a Year-Round Front Desk Agent for Sawmill Creek Resort to deliver exceptional guest service at check-in/check-out, ticket sales, and inquiries. You will learn and operate the Opera PMS to manage reservations and guest data, while representing Cedar Point standards and guest-first hospitality.

The role is part-time, year-round with an hourly wage of $16.00, and includes perks such as free uniforms, free admission to Cedar Point properties, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Charismatic attitude suitable for guest-facing roles.
• Ability to learn and use Opera Property Management System.
• Willingness to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Pass a mandatory or random drug test; background check if 18+.

Responsibilities

• Check guests in and out, sell tickets and answer questions.
• Maintain guest information securely.
• Provide service per Cedar Fair standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the Front Desk area.
• Communicate with other shifts and Front Office Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to maintain guest information, including credit card information, in a secure and confidential manner.
• Ability to check guests into and out of the hotel, sell tickets, and answer guest questions.
• Ability to solve guest related concerns in a positive and professional manner.
  Maintain open communication with other shifts and the Front Office Manager.
• Provide guest service according to Cedar Fair standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and perform all duties in compliance with Cedar Fair Safety Guidelines.
• Meet Cedar Fair's attendance requirements.
  Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays to meet business needs
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Comany Policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law
• Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older
