Job summary

Cedar Point is looking for a Front Desk Agent to welcome guests at Sawmill Creek and handle check-in/check-out, payments, ticket sales, and inquiries with a friendly, professional demeanor.

The role requires using the Opera PMS, flexibility to work various shifts, and a commitment to Cedar Fair safety guidelines. Perks include free uniforms, free admission to Cedar Point properties, and substantial staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Charismatic attitude.
• Ability to learn and use the Opera Property Management System (PMS).
• Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays to meet business needs.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to pass a mandatory drug test, per company policy, unless prohibited by law.
• Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a positive attitude and assist with check-in/check-out.
• Collect payments, sell tickets and add-ons, answer questions in person and by phone.
• Learn and utilize the hotel Property Management System.
• Maintain guest information securely.
• Coordinate with Front Office Manager and other shifts.
• Ensure service quality according to Cedar Fair standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the front desk area and perform all duties as assigned.

Overview:

$16.00/hour

Ages 18+

Responsibilities:

• Ability to maintain guest information, including credit card information, in a secure and confidential manner.
• Ability to check guests into and out of the hotel, sell tickets, and answer guest questions.
• Ability to solve guest related concerns in a positive and professional manner.
  Maintain open communication with other shifts and the Front Office Manager.
• Provide guest service according to Cedar Fair standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and perform all duties in compliance with Cedar Fair Safety Guidelines.
• Meet Cedar Fair's attendance requirements.
  Other duties may be assigned.
