Job summary

The YMCA of Coastal Georgia, Inc. is seeking a Site Coordinator for the YBASE program in Savannah, GA. You will lead and supervise children aged 4–14, plan age-appropriate activities, and coordinate with the Program Director to deliver a safe, engaging daily schedule.

Responsibilities include attendance, transport coordination if needed, health and safety compliance, and partnership with families. Strong communication, reliability, and basic computer skills are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Intermediate understanding of current child development principles.
• Experience in working with school age children.
• CPR and First Aid training within 90 days of employment.
• 18 Bright From the Start approved trainings per year.

Responsibilities

• Lead, guide and supervise groups of children indoors and outdoors.
• Plan and implement curriculum with the Program Director.
• Maintain attendance and routine clerical records.
• Coordinate parent pickup and transportation records if applicable.
• Uphold health, safety and professional standards.
