Job summary

Pendleton Woolen Mills is seeking a Yarn Operator - Spinning to monitor and operate spinning equipment, ensuring safe, efficient production of quality yarn. You will manage yarn flow, repair breaks, and handle roving and yarn materials while maintaining equipment and workspace.

The role supports cross-training to cover changing production needs. The position is on-site with 3rd shift (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM) and includes benefits under the labor agreement, paid holidays, health coverage, and a

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Two or more years of production experience preferred.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
• Ability to safely operate production equipment and follow established work instructions.
• Willingness to cross-train in other areas of Yarn Manufacturing to meet changing business needs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor spinning frames to ensure yarn moves smoothly and identify issues.
• Repair loose yarn ends and breaks to maintain production flow.
• Unload, move, and transport spools and yarn as needed.
• Operate spinning equipment safely per procedures.
• Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean, orderly condition.
• Cross-train in other Yarn Manufacturing areas to support changing needs.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards.
