Job summary

Pendleton Woolen Mills is seeking a Fuller Operator to safely operate fulling mills and process wool fabric per specs. You will load, position, monitor, and unload fabric, adjust machinery, inspect quality, and maintain a clean, safe Finish Department area.

Ideal candidates follow tickets and instructions, report issues promptly, and can work independently or with a team. Includes shift differential, holidays, and benefits under the collective bargaining agreement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or textile production preferred.
• Ability to learn and safely operate fulling mills and related equipment.
• Ability to read production specs, tickets and quality requirements.
• Ability to perform basic math and measurements.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in processing fabric.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or with others.
• Equivalent education/experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Operate fulling mills safely and efficiently per procedures.
• Load, position, monitor, and unload fabric during processing.
• Make routine machine adjustments to meet specs.
• Inspect fabric for quality, shrinkage, dimensions, and appearance.
• Report defects, concerns, or safety issues to supervision.
• Sew or join fabric as required using approved equipment.
• Complete production tickets, lot, and quality documentation.
• Perform routine cleaning and minor maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain 5S standards and a clean, safe work area.
• Support department needs through teamwork and cross-training.
