Job summary

Pendleton Woolen Mills (retail) is seeking a Blanket Operator to cut fabric, sew labels, and inspect blankets for quality. The role supports efficient production and adherence to safety standards in a textile environment.

Responsibilities include folding, packaging, and preparing products for shipment, recording production data, and maintaining clean, safe work areas. Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–3:30 PM. Related skills in teamwork and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• English reading and writing ability required.
• Basic math and counting skills essential.
• Strong attention to detail and quality focus.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Cut fabric and blanket materials to required specifications.
• Operate sewing equipment to attach labels and bindings.
• Inspect blankets and finished products for quality, appearance, and accuracy.
• Fold, package, tag, and prepare products for shipment.
• Record production counts and maintain accurate production information.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow safety procedures.
• Cross-train in other production areas as needed to support operations.
