Job summary

Mohawk Industries, a Fortune 500 global flooring leader, is seeking a production associate to support yarn winding and creeling operations, perform quality checks, and maintain daily production records.

You will work on the shop floor in a fast-paced industrial environment, follow safety procedures, and assist with housekeeping and general tasks as directed; prior yarn or manufacturing exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Successful completion of all required on the job training.
• Successful completion of all required health and environmental safety training.
• Previous Yarn or Manufacturing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Threads and repairs breakouts to maintain production efficiency and standards.
• Proactively identifies yarn quality during production runs.
• Selects and stages tubes for winder operation.
• Doffs finished yarn packages as required.
• Maintains daily production records.
• Run both creeling and winding side when needed.
• Uses black light to check for mixes.
• Attend job-related training deemed necessary by supervision.
• Follow established SOPs and safety procedures; adhere to company policies.
• Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary.
• Perform other tasks assigned by management.
