Job summary

Mohawk Industries, a Fortune 500 global flooring leader, is seeking a machine operator responsible for material movement and safe production of quality products. You will perform quality inspections, set up procedures, and operate equipment according to SOPs.

The role requires a High School Diploma, forklift experience, and computer skills (Excel). You will work in shifts, handle heavy lifts up to 50 lbs, and follow safety policies in a temperature-variable environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior forklift experience required, 1+ year preferred.
• Computer literacy with Excel skills required.
• Good oral and written communication abilities.
• Experience in manufacturing environments beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections and testing throughout the shift.
• Adjust production parameters as needed to minimize defects and increase output.
• Train to perform adjustments on the production line based on automated system feedback.
• Follow SOPs and documentation procedures for production and quality.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping, and shift reporting standards.
• Operate pallets, forklifts and other equipment for material flow.
• Participate in required job-related training and follow all procedures.
• Perform other tasks assigned by management.
