The role collaborates with operations, customers, and site leadership to ensure railcars move safely, on schedule, and with accurate documentation.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years in administrative/logistics roles, strong communication skills, and the ability to work rotating day/night shifts outdoors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of administrative, logistics, industrial, or transportation experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily rail switching and loading operations.
• Maintain train logs and operational tracking data.
• Prepare and distribute reports, load data, and operational paperwork.
• Communicate railcar movement and loading instructions via radio.
• Coordinate documentation including track lists, inspections, load reports, and bills of lading.
• Support customer communication and operational coordination.
• Perform general administrative and reporting duties.
• Occasionally inspect railcars and equipment outdoors in the rail yard.
• Maintain compliance with all company and customer safety procedures.
