Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in a rail-centric facility.
• Ability to use yard management software and create switch lists.
• Experience with coordinating rail operations and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate activities within the rail yard to ensure efficient operations and safety.
• Use yard management software to document railcars entering, exiting, loading, or unloading.
• Create switch lists based on daily needs and changes in the yard.
• Proactively anticipate logistics challenges and work to prevent issues.
• Monitor yard activities using video systems and communicate with management and customers.
• Provide data and reports to support logistics decisions.
• Communicate with Union Pacific railroad and other stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records for switch lists and hand off tasks during shift changes.
