The main responsibility of this position is to ensure that WillScot Storage Units and Offices are clean, repaired, and operational to be rented out. The role involves a variety of general labor tasks.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

As a Yard Worker, your duties include:

• Cleaning, repairing, and ensuring all Storage Units and Offices are ready for rental, including repairs on customer sites. Tasks include:
• Sweeping and hose-out
• Checking A/C units, if applicable
• Replacing tile or epoxy flooring
• Repairing drywall holes
• Cleaning windows, blinds, doors, floors, and walls
• Painting
• Performing minor welding repairs
• Handling repairs for customer units in the field
• Documenting work completed and verifying units' status (needs repairs or ready to rent)
• Replenishing supplies, organizing the yard, and maintaining safety standards
• Operating a forklift to load and unload containers from trucks and trailers
• Performing other duties as assigned; regular attendance is required

Equipment You Will Use:

• Mops
• Paint supplies (brushes, rollers, stencils, buckets)
• Drywall repair materials and masks
• Maintenance and repair tools
• Electrical hand tools (preferred)
• Gas-powered forklift
• Computer for timekeeping

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• 0-2 years of experience in general labor and repairs
• High School Diploma or GED
• Welding experience (preferred)
• Valid Driver's License
