About the Job:

The primary focus of this position is to ensure that WillScot Storage Units and Offices are cleaned, repaired, and in working condition for rental. This role involves performing a variety of general labor tasks.

What You'll Be Doing:

As a Yard Worker, your responsibilities include:

• Cleaning, repairing, and ensuring all Storage Units and Offices are ready for rent, including repairs on customer sites. Tasks include:
• Sweeping and hosing out
• Checking A/C units if applicable
• Replacing tile or epoxy flooring
• Repairing drywall holes
• Cleaning windows, blinds, doors, floors, and walls
• Replacing light bulbs, locks, blinds, door handles, etc.
• Painting
• Performing minor welding and electrical repairs
• Addressing repairs for customer units in the field
• Documenting work completed and tagging units as needing further repairs (red) or ready for rent (green)
• Replenishing supplies and maintaining an organized, hazard-free yard
• Operating the forklift for loading and unloading containers
• Performing other duties as assigned. Regular attendance is required.

Equipment You Will Use:

• Mop
• Paint and painting materials (brushes, rollers, stencils)
• Drywall putty and masks
• Welder
• Floor cleaners
• Maintenance tools for repairs
• Electrical hand tools (preferred)
• Gas-powered forklift
• Computer for timekeeping

Education and Qualifications:

• 0-2 years of experience in general labor and repairs
• High School Diploma or GED
• Welding experience is a plus
• Valid driver's license
